Shanghai Fisherman Wharf (SFW) is a culture-style commercial trade and tourism with leisure service centre, integrating multi-functions of luxurious business accommodation, world wide seafood restaurant, international tourism service, communication platform for either Chinese students studying aboard or foreign students studying in China, and marine cultural museum, which not only carries forward historical & cultural vein of Shanghai fisheries trade but also displays new landscapes of modern Shanghai city. The Project is located in the south of Bridge Yangpu which is the extend of North Bund and occupies 250 mu with 700 meters long along Huangpu River and 200 meters long along Lanzhou Lu River, linking up with Lujiazhou Financial Zoo, North Bund Shipping Centre. It is sure that SFW will become a new symbol of Shanghai. The first phase of SWF uses 75 mu, which is developed jointly by Shanghai Fisheries Group, SFW Investment Development Consultation Co. Ltd., and Shanghai Guozhi Establishment Development Co., Ltd. The estimated total investment of the first phase will be CNY 1.5 billion and it will be completed at the beginning of year 2010.
SFW Project is one part of Huangpu River Development Project developed by Shanghai Municipal Government. Meanwhile it is the key project of District Yangpu to constitute nature of production service area for forging Knowledge in Shanghai. Through Shanghai Fisheries Group using exist state-owned assets combined with social assets, the completion of SWF will not only be extend of fisheries industry and promote industry whole economic benefit and boost reform of state-owned assets’ inflation proof and value added, but realize historical leap in the fields of ecological environment, architectural style, industrial structure and urban function in the region of south of Bridge Yangpu as well. This stands out the new milestone which symbolizes the perfect combination between modern fisheries and modern service industry developed by Shanghai Fisheries Group jointly. |
